In the early 1990s, Indian Tabac cigars from Honduras began to flourish on the American market. In 2003, Rocky changed its marketing direction and changing also its name to Rocky Patel Premium Cigars.
From packaging, marketing, improving blends and every other facet of creating the finished product, Rocky always comes up with fresh ideas and new techniques. He seeks to create more complex cigars because he believes that tobacco blending from different regions requires greater skill and knowledge. It strives to achieve 100% consistency, with a strong emphasis on quality control since each cigar is thoroughly tested through various quality control sections before being packaged for export.
Rocky's first brand, featuring his name, the Rocky Patel Vintage cigars, has become its registered trademark, comprising five Vintage series: 1990, 1992, 1999, 2003 and 2006. With company’s new direction, Rocky has launched numerous top brands. It does not rest on its laurels, as it constantly pursues perfection.
