The Liga Privada, which means “private blend”. No 9 was originally created for Drew Estate’s president Steve Saka as his personal smoke. The Liga Privada No. 9 is a complex smoke made of 7 different tobaccos from 7 different farms making it a unique and rich smoke. Because these were blended originally for the top brass at Drew Estate, you can expect only the best flavors and construction. The cigars are handmade by only the best rollers in Drew Estate’s factory. The blend of rich Nicaraguan filler tobaccos with a dark oily stalk cut Connecticut broad-leaf wrapper result in a flawless cigar, which is then aged for a year to add extra complexity and finesse to these powerhouse cigars. At the Drew Estate Liga Privada No. 9 Robusto meet typical Maduro notes of espresso and tart, chocolaty sweetness with plenty of earth. It is hearty, medium-bodied to strong and wonderfully full-bodied.
