Hennessy Very Special (V.S.) is one of the world’s most recognized Cognacs, renowned for its bold and aromatic character. Matured in new oak barrels, it develops a beautiful amber hue and a distinctive profile combining toasted and fruity notes.
On the nose, fresh toast, roasted almond and brown sugar are complemented by subtle vine fruit aromas. The palate is rich and creamy, with notes of vanilla, leading to a fresh and delicately floral finish.
Its round and robust character makes it exceptionally versatile, equally enjoyable neat or as a base for cocktails and long drinks.
The story of Hennessy began in 1765, when Richard Hennessy founded his own Cognac house. Since then, the Maison has grown into one of the world’s most renowned Cognac houses, combining heritage, expertise and innovation.
In 1794, Hennessy began exporting Cognac to America, marking the beginning of its international presence. Since 1806, its relationship with the Fillioux family has played a defining role in the art of blending, with expertise passed down through generations.
In 1870, Maurice Hennessy created Hennessy X.O., a creation that would go on to become a benchmark for the X.O. category.
With more than two and a half centuries of history, Hennessy continues to embody a distinctive savoir-faire, where heritage meets constant evolution.
