OLD PULTENEY – 12 Years Single Malt Scotch Whisky 40% 700ml

€48,00

Born by the sea, Old Pulteney 12 Year Old elevates the senses with its coastal character. Aged for 12 years in air-dried, hand-crafted ex-bourbon casks, it offers a unique balance of sea saltiness and the soft sweetness of American oak.

Its vibrant, deep amber hue is complemented by a flavor that captures the freshness of the sea breeze and the harmony of distilling craftsmanship. A classic single malt for those seeking something authentic with a modern twist.

Packaging: 700ml

The Old Pulteney distillery was founded in 1826 by James Henderson and named after the newly developed Pulteneytown area in Wick. At the time, it was (and still is) one of the northernmost distilleries on the Scottish mainland, accessible only by sea due to the lack of conventional roads. Barley was transported by boat, and the whisky was shipped out by distillery workers who were also herring fishermen.
