Description
First introduced in 1965, the Aran series has become a core part of Peterson’s Classic range, offering traditional, non-System shapes at an accessible price point. Designed for everyday use, the Aran line reflects the brand’s commitment to reliability, balance, and timeless pipe design.
The Aran Rusticated version adds a bold, rugged character to the series. Its deep, hand-carved rustication gives the pipe a strong tactile feel, while the earthy walnut stain enhances its masculine and traditional appearance. The combination of classic shaping and textured finish makes it both practical and visually distinctive.
With its comfortable handling and durable construction, the Peterson Aran Rusticated is well suited for regular smoking sessions and fits easily into any pipe collection that values tradition and character.

In London in 1865, two German brothers, George and Frederick Kapp, established a pipe-making business. George Kapp & Co. In 1874, Frederick decoded to strike out on his own and moved to Dublin to continue his pipe making endeavours. A year later,a young Latvian, Charles Peterson, joined the business. Charles brought with him two great assets: a creative instict for designing pipes plus outstanding craftmanship. It was a powerful combination. In time, Kapp & Peterson became simply Peterson. And the rest is a continuing story of heritage and history, innovation and individuality.
