Description
The Royal Yacht stands as one of the most iconic blends of the British tradition. Originally crafted by Alfred Dunhill Ltd. in the early 20th century, it was designed as a tribute to royal elegance and understated luxury.
Following the transition of the line to Peterson of Dublin, the original recipe has remained unchanged, preserving the classic London finesse that defines every bowl.
This distinguished blend consists exclusively of carefully matured Virginia tobaccos, specially treated to highlight their rich body and natural, deep sweetness.
In London, in 1865, two German brothers, George and Frederick Kapp, founded a pipe manufacturing factory called George Kapp & Co. In 1874, Frederick Kapp decided to continue the venture on his own and moved to Dublin. A year later, a young Latvian, Charles Peterson, joined the business. Charles brought with him two valuable assets: a creative instinct for design and exceptional technical expertise. It was a powerful combination. Over time, Kapp & Peterson simply became Peterson. The rest is a continuing evolution of legacy and history, innovation, and individuality.
