Description
The Plasencia Alma Fuerte Eduardo I is one of the signature cigars of the Plasencia family, created in honor of Eduardo Plasencia, the man who laid the foundation for their long-standing tradition in tobacco cultivation. This exceptional Nicaraguan puro is crafted exclusively from carefully selected tobaccos grown in Nicaragua and blended with years of expertise and aged leaf.
It features a Colorado Claro wrapper aged for over 10 years, offering a smooth burn and a refined, balanced profile. The flavor reveals notes of cocoa, cedar, leather, and subtle touches of spice and nuts, resulting in a mature and well-rounded smoking experience with a medium-full strength profile.
With its Toro vitola and the high-quality construction that defines the Alma Fuerte line, Eduardo I is ideal for smokers seeking depth, consistency, and craftsmanship without overpowering intensity.
Suggested pairing: Aged single malt whisky, rum with caramel notes, or a cocoa-forward espresso pairs beautifully with its rich, layered character.

The Plasencia family has its roots in Cuba, where it left during the revolution. They remained in Nicaragua until 1980, continuing to grow tobacco and make cigars. During the Sandinista revolution they moved to Honduras, having lost their plantations and factory, and remained there until the late 1990s. Thanks to regime change, they were able to return to Nicaragua and have since continued to produce quality cigars using factories and plantations in both countries.
