CUABAThe company was first seen in London in 1996 and is the first new-generation cigar to be mass produced after 1968. The word Cuaba is used by the native Taino to describe the Cuban plant to light the “cohiba” or the “tobacco” on the island. They have the perfect shape, wide in the center and sharp in both ends. That was the traditional shape until the start of the 20th century and in reality the smoking of “figurado” is a British tradition. There is no doubt that is the reason the company promoted the Cuaba in London and then reintroduced historic brands and vitolas.The Cuaba cigars are made with tobacco from the Vuelta Abajo area in the Romeo y Julieta factory. Despite their size they have rich flavor with an almost chocolatey aroma.
