Victorinox products draw upon a century of tradition and experience. Their story began in 1884 when Karl and Victoria Elsener founded the company. In October 1891 the first knives for the Swiss Army where delivered. In 1897 the ” Officer Knife”, which later became known as the ” Swiss Army Knife”, was patented.
