Nicaraguan filler and binder tobaccos sit underneath a spicy Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper leaf, making for a full-bodied “San Lotano on steroids,” so to speak. Near flawless construction makes for an easy draw and a clean burn. Plentiful smoke hits hard from first light, bringing a hurricane of spice Nicaraguan pepper furiously against the palate. Soon, the pepper settles down into a smooth cedary flavor profile spiked with hints of leather and coffee. A woody finish on the retrohale leaves the smoker drooling for more.
