Description
The Plasencia Alma del Cielo is the world’s highest-elevation cigar, grown at an impressive 1,300 meters above sea level on the Plasencia family’s cherished estate, Finca San Julián in Condega. Its name —“Alma del Cielo,” the soul of the sky— mirrors the character of the blend, delivering an experience that truly rises above.
The flavor journey begins with a rich, creamy sweetness reminiscent of marzipan and honey, accented by subtle touches of nougat. As the cigar develops, gentle earthy undertones emerge, accompanied by a delicate note of orange zest. The core reveals warm cedar and further nougat depth, while the finish resolves in a smooth crescendo with a refined ginger spice that lingers softly.
A line crafted to honor the earth, the sky, and everything in between.
The Boreal, in Toro format, is inspired by the northern skies and conveys a dynamic, clean energy — a vitola with presence and premium character.

The Plasencia family has its roots in Cuba, where it left during the revolution. They remained in Nicaragua until 1980, continuing to grow tobacco and make cigars. During the Sandinista revolution they moved to Honduras, having lost their plantations and factory, and remained there until the late 1990s. Thanks to regime change, they were able to return to Nicaragua and have since continued to produce quality cigars using factories and plantations in both countries.
