Medias Corona means litterally  “Half Corona” , size appears for the first time in United Kingdom back in 1907. This size became quickly popular in the market during 1920 and 1930. However, this vitola eventually lost its popularity. That thing until H. Upmann  decided to bring back this sixe at 2011 with H. Upmann Half Corona. Montecristo Media Corona represents the second modern implementation in this form. It has unique flavor, described as spicy with hints of coffee, cocoa beans, pepper, as well as orange peel, cinnamon and vanilla leaving a bittersweet taste.
