Description
Toscanello Nero was born in 2006, and for its production, the company acquired a chocolate factory to naturally flavor the tobacco without using chemicals. Real hot chocolate is blended during the fermentation process at the Cava de’ Tirreni factory, sweetening the air of the town for as long as their production lasts. The tobacco leaves used and the production process are exactly the same as Toscanello Caffé, but the dark chocolate adds a dark chocolaty wrapper leaf. Contains Kentucky tobacco leaves. Toscanello cigars were created as a more affordable option for Italians who loved Toscano cigars.

In 1818, the Grand Duke of Tuscany, Ferdinand III, founded a tobacco factory that manufactured Toscano cigars. The Toscano cigar has a characteristic elliptical shape with turncated ends that have a smaller diameter than the central part (belly). Typically, the Toscano cigar has an uneven, sometimes lumpy, surface, with noticeable ribs of the wrapping leaves. These irregularities in structure are more evident in hand-rolled cigars and are not seen as defects, but characteristics of the Toscano cigar. Today, Toscano brand cigars are manufactured by Manifatture Sigaro Toscano SpA located in Lucca and Cava De Tirreni.
